Hi,

I need to create at least a decent looking newsletter in Entourage (HTML) that I can send throughout my company. Is this possible? Where can I get details? I've done a lot of searching and haven't found anything that really helps.

Entourage doesn't have the ability to generate complex HTML by itself.
You could create such a newsletter in Microsoft Word, however, and send
it through Entourage via File > Send To.

You can also use a third-party HTML tool and use the Send Complex HTML
AppleScript. A Google search will turn it up.

In addition to Adam's comment: please note that this option is only
available if Entourage is set as your default e-mail application.

Hang it up. There's no way. The HTML bug in Entourage persists, making it
the suckiest email program ever. You can create html in word, but it sends
as an attachment. If I wanted to send an attachment, I'd just email out a
PDF file.

Despite lots of good help and effort from the MVPs here, Microsoft still
doesn't get it.

While I agree that Entourage's HTML support is quite poor...

....this is not the case from my experience. Word's HTML generation is
nothing to be proud of, but it does work, and should not generate an
attachment.

Or, as I said, use any HTML generator and use the Send Complex HTML
AppleScript. Works like a charm.

No one serious about a newsletter should be building it in their email
program anyway.

If Entourage is set as your default e-mail application, you will see another
option in Word, to send the file as HTML.
