How to create an xy graph in powerpoint

I need to have a math class create xy graphs in a powerpoint presentation.
How do we go about creating the graphs in powerpoint office 2003?

In your tool bar click Insert > Chart. Then build your graph just like you
would in Excel.

Also, choose XY Scatter Chart as the chart type.
