I am using Microsoft Project 2000 (9.0.2000.0224) to track software
implementation projects. There is one project which is saved with a baseline
with a set of duration, start dates, finish dates and resources. After the
project was started, we came across a series of holidays and I have to rework
the plan with a new set of duration, start dates, finish dates and resources.
Is it possible to put the new set of parameters without losing the initial
set so that we can compare the progress with both. I think this way of
tracking is called 'saving more than one baseline'.
I have read that it's possible to have 11 baselines in Project 2003. Is it
possible in Project 2000. Am I right in my understanding or is there any
other way to manage this requirement?
Thanks in advance
