how to create multiple labels on one sheet?

What I need to know is how to do custom size labels (about 1"x1") to be used
as calendar save the date stickers with each 81/2x11 sheet having "sets" of
approximately 10 different designs (logos inserted, etc.) that can be saved
and printed.

I have yet to find a label that meets the need. It needs to be no larger
than 1"x1". Decided to "give up" and simply do my own design on a blank
sheet and use an 81/2x11 "label" sheet to run it, then cut strips of the
stickers from there....unless you have some spectacular insight! Thanks.

That is what I needed, I think. Realized the idea I had would not work
unless we hand cut out the labels. Is Word going to let me do multiple
designs on one sheet?

I don't know about how Word does there thing.
You can copy the template and paste it to Publisher. It is only a table, right-click
the table in Word, properties, you can get the cell measurements.
