How to create popup dialog messages

I have a file saved in the shared folder where anybody can open and
input data.

I want create an opening message stating that user should close file
when file is not in use so others can input data.

And, show a message stating who has file opened.

Any input is appreciated.

Hi

Couldn't you Share the workbook. I find this works well.

1. If someone has the file opened on his pc, then other won't be able t
open and save.

2. I don't want people to work on the same file simultaneously
