How to create random text for troubleshooting?

I forgot what function (or field code) to use to fill a new WORD document
with text. If I can quickly fill a new document with text, then I can learn
how to use other features of WORD. Does anyone know how to quickly fill a
new document with text?

Start a new paragraph and type

=Rand(n,m)

Where n is the number of paragraphs you want and m is the number of
sentences in each (max 255). 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.'
is the sentence used.

Jezebel: EXCELLENT! That's exactly what I was looking for. I have seen
magazine articles about this trick many times, but I could not remember it
when I really needed it. Your reply was right on the money - and incredibly
fast too. I wasted about an hour or two searching the help menus and KB
articles for this, but found nothing. Then, as a last resort (which really
did not expect to work), I posted my question on this bulletin board and got
your reply within 10 minutes. Next time I will try this first. Thank you
so very much. Paul S. Natanson January 15, 2003
