How to create visio diagram from an excel data sheet

Hi,

Can I load a spreadsheet containing data listing how a series of devices
link together and have Visio create a diagram based on that data ?? So from
text to a graphical view.

I have found and understand that I can add data to a diagram I have already
created from an imported spreadsheet.
I am currently using Visio 2003 with SP2.

From this "series of devices link together" it sounds like a network drawing?
If all you need is a simple "boxs and lines" drawing you can adapt what is in
the visio sdk flowchart application (reads an excel spreadsheet to drop
shapes and connect them).

Is Visio 2003 has visio sdk flowchart application ? Is there any document
related to this? tia.
