Hello,
I've created several VBA forms which process data from a SQL Server
database and which export a spreadsheet to Excel, summarizing various
findings.
Instead of simply exporting a spreadsheet, is it possible to export
charts, and save them as .xls files, automatically?
For example, I have thousands of records of data which look like:
date location chemical concentration
..... .... ..... .....
..... .... ..... .....
..... .... ..... .....
I need to create a chart for each location, for each chemical, showing
how the concentrations vary with time.
It can currently be done manually, by drawing graphs from the monster
exported spreadsheet.
I would like to have my routine do this automatically, to save time.
Where should I begin looking? Is there a name for this routine?
Thank you,
Michael R. Darrett, P.E.
