I need to customize a report in project web access similar to Resourse Usage
view in MS Office Project. By the other words I need a view with the
information about how much hours project resourses spent for doing this or
that task for each day of the week.
If there are other instruments that can be used for daily resourse time
control, I would be greatfull to know.

Mikhail.

What version of Project Server are you using? 2003 or 2007? It helps to
know. I will assume 2007 unless you state otherwise. To solve your
problem, you might try the following:

1. Navigate to the Resource Center page.
2. Select the resources whose work you want to view.
3. Click the View Assignments button.
4. On the Resource Assignments page, click the Settings pick list button
and choose the View Options item.
5. In the expanded View Options pane, select the List option for the View
field (upper left corner of the pane).

This View approximates what you want to see. If shows you each resource,
along with the tasks to which they are assigned in each project, and
displays a timephased grid on the right that is similar to the timephased
grid you see in the Resource Usage view in Project Professional 2007.
Beyond this, there is no other default way to see the information you want
the way that you want to see it. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the answer.
But now I want to make possible for project resourses to see their reports
about how much time they spent in each day for doing this or that task. By
the other words I want my resourses to see the same report (Resourse Usage)
as I use now via PWA. So I need to give some special permissions. I would be
pleased to know what permissions I am to give to each resourse for them
being able to use the same report for themselves.

By default, members of the Team Members group can already see this View by
navigating to the My Tasks page, clicking the Go To menu, and selecting the
Tasks Gantt View. The Tasks Gantt View is actually the View Assignments
page referenced in my previous answer. This assumes, however, that you have
enabled this View for your team members. As the Project Server
administrator, do the following to enable it:

1. Click Server Settings - Task Settings and Display.
2. Select the "Enable ActiveX Gantt view for all users" option.
3. Click the Save button.

Hope this helps.

Good day.
The information my resourses see in PWA Tasks Gantt View is not actual. The
problem is that when I watch actual work for my resourses in MS Project
(Resourse Usage View) I see correct information. But when my resourses watch
their actual work in PWA (My Tasks page, Tasks Gantt View in Go To menu) for
the same period of time they see not all actual work. Maybe problem is that
some information is not updated in PWA?
