How to Customize Certain Views

Hello,

I'm wondering if its possible to edit certain views in Project Server
2007. I know you can edit the time sheet view and the my tasks views,
but what about the View Assignments and View Availability views? Can
I edit these and can I create custom fields to be displayed in these
views, without having the edit the source code? If I can create
custom fields and display them in here, what sort of fields do I have
to create? Can someone just give me a quick break down of the steps
and if its possible? I'm looking to create a custom field to show
baseline variance. Thank you.

You can customize the Resource Assignments view but you cannot customize the
View Availability view. To customize the Resource Assignments view, click
the Server Settings link in the Quick Launch menu and then click the Manage
Views link in the Look and Feel section. Select the Summary view in the
Resource Assignments section and customize the View as you wish. Hope this
helps.
