How to customize powerpoint gradient fill

Ivy

Hi! I would like to customize the smoothness of the transition
on a gradient fill in Powerpoint. Is there anyway i can do that?

Thanks!

There's no way to adjust this, exactly, but the fills generally look pretty
good.
Since you're asking, I'll assume you're seeing some kind of problem with
gradient fills.
Could you elaborate on what the problem is?

A low color depth would allow the transition from color to color to be
noticed by the human eye. Larger pixels (800x600 or worse) would also
create this unwanted effect. Or a poor video card/driver.

You may want to try importing a picture of a gradient and see if this
displays better. Chances are it will not. If this is the case, I would try
improving the display settings and / or video card.

Like Steve, the gradients on my machine are smooth and gradual.
