How to customize the PWA UI? Link needed

K

Kasper Ovi

Hi

I've spend the last hour trying to find the place where MS describes how to
customomize the project server 2002 web access UI the simple way, e.g.
removing the top and left nagivation bar by adding something like "&ui=3" at
the URL.
The thing is I've seen this page before, but can't find it - only for the
project central.

Anyone who can help me find this description?

Thanks
Kasper

Kasper:

If it's anywhere, it's on MSDN. I don't recall seeing this either, or any
other documentation anywhere on this feature. These are bitmapped so my
approach was to try them all and map the results.

Kasper:

This particular ppt was part of a presentation at the Project Technical
Briefing in June. Ted didn't offer us a chart or point to one at the time
and, as I recall, had to experiment with different values when taking
questions from the audience.

Add &SimpleUI-125 at the end of the URL

I didn't find it on MSDN even though i KNOW it's there somewhere ;-)
By searching desperately, trying some new search strings, I found this page
where it is explained:

http://prade.microsoftemea.com/content/Work% 20Management/Project%20Technical%20Session%2010%20-%
20Project%20Server%20Web%20Part%20Development%20-%20Ted%
20Dinklocker.ppt

Look at page 8 and 9.
Hope someone can use this information.
