How to deactivate office initialization feature

P

Peter Hase

Hi,

I' m using the access report engine (Access 2000) via automation
in a windows terminal server environment.

The problem is that for each new user account
the office initalization window comes up and asks
for some user input, when the automation-client starts
access the first time.

Is it possible to deactivate / suppress this office feature?

Thanks in advance for hints & links

Hi Peter,

You may want to also check with the folks in the MS Access newsgroup as well (link below) and describe the scenario you're wanting
to achieve in a bit more detail and the manual steps you take to go through the dialogs that you're seeing.

Is it possible to deactivate / suppress this office feature?

We have got it, entries in:

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\UserInfo\"

solves the problem.
