How to delete a document library

Admin > Manage Windows SharePoint Services > Manage SharePoint sites.

Select the Public Documents site (do not click the hyperlink).
Click go to Site Administration
Click Modify Site Content
Click Customize "[library name]"
Click Delete this document library
