How to delete message in Outlook that won't finish transmitting?

I have a message that appears to be stuck in my Outbox. When I try to delete
it nothing happens. When I try to do anything else I get an error message,
"Outlook has already begun transmitting this message." It is hanging up my
Outbox so that nothing else can get out of it. Can still receive incoming
messages. Am using Outlook with my Hotmail account.

Hi laa30043,

you must change your default PST file before you can delete this e-mail.

- Create a new PST file (File/New/Personal Folder PST)

- Name this PST file "Personal Folder NEW"

- In Outlook 2002/2003/2007 you must change now the delivers folder to the
new PST file.

"Tools/E-Mail Accounts/Show existing E-Mail accounts"

- In the left corner you can change the "delivery folder" to "Personal
Folder NEW".

Restart Outlook and confirm every questions with "Yes"

Now you can delete the e-mail in your "Outbox"

Change the delivery folder back to your "Personal Folder"

"Tools/E-Mail Accounts/Show existing E-Mail accounts"

- In the left corner you can change the "delivery folder" to "Personal
Folder".

Restart Outlook and confirm every questions with "Yes"

Now you can delete the "Personal Folder NEW" in your Outlook.

Click on "File/Datafilemanagement/Datafiles" and delete the "Personal Folder
NEW"

Maybe it helps.
