How to delete Outlook recurring appts for one month only?

I have a calendar with one-off and recurring appointments, several on any
given day. How do I delete a whole month (whilst on holidays) without going
into each and every one of them? Alternatively, how do I delete just one
day's appointments without going into each?

Recurring appointments are single entries in the calendar. I don't believe
there is any way to eliminate individual recurrences without selecting those
recurrences individually.
