Hi Cesar,
I agree with Dale that the project might be checked out.
If Project Server Administrator is not available in MSP 2003 a project
manage can check in his own project (Only if he is the one who checked it out)
1) Open MS Project Professional
2) Try to open that read-only project
3) This will say that the project is checked out by (Who so ever) May be
If it is someone else other than you
(THEN YOU HAVE TO CONTACT YOUR ADMINISTRATOR- Follow what DALE suggested)
If it is you who checked the project out.
Login to PWA
Click on Project (Project Center)
At bottom left hand side you will see checkin
Click on that and you can check in the project that you have left checked out
HOW TO DELETE A PROJECT
Your administrator can follow this steps
1) Open project Web access
2) Click on Clean up project server database
3) You can select and delete the project that you donot wish to keep (But
for this project has to be checked in)
