How to delete section breaks?

Hi all,

We're having trouble deleting section breaks. If you
highlight the break and hit either delete or backspace
nothing happens. The breaks can be removed using Cut or
Copy.

This has the feel of an improperly set option or
preference but I'll be damned if I can find it.

Any ideas?

Take a look under Tools/Options/General and make sure both WP options
are turned off. WP Help and WP Navigation.
