how to delete the clock icon on my appointment bar

Under the date line on my calander i have put an appointment that will go on
for several weeks. Suddendly there appeared a clock on one of these
appointments, how do i get rid of the darn thing? help

Right-click the Calendar body, choose Other Settings, and examine the boxes
labeled "Show time as clocks".
