how to delete unwanted blind attachments to outgoing e mail?

J

john

When I create new mail and send it, the recipient informs me that it has
attachments, (two images). I have not attached anything and nothing was
showing in the attchment line.
If I send myself a test message it goes out without attachments and comes in
with them! Although their is no paperclip in the in box, the attachments only
come to light when the mail is opened!
Can anyone help!!??

I suspect you're using Word as your mail editor and that the Word template
you use when comosing messages contains those images.

Thank you for that. I just need to find a way of delting it!

Search your hard drive for files named "Normal.dot" or "Email.dot" and
delete them.

I would urge caution when deleting normal.dot If the user uses macros in word
they are typically stored in normal.dot and will be lost if it is deleted.
