How to delete values in each row leaving only last value ?

I have a table
A B C D E F G H
1| 5 12 14 7
2| 45 1 77
3| 8 74 12 99 47
4| 4
5| 1 12

In result I want to get last value from each row (in column A)
A B C D E F ...
1| 7
2|77
3|47
4| 4
5|12

I put this formula in I2:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(A2:H2<>""),A2:H2)
And dragged down

Then I converted that column to values:
edit|copy
edit|paste special|values
and deleted columns A:H
