how to design half and quarter page ads

I am trying to design a booklet with half page and quarter page ads in a
portrait landscape. I need each section should be equal in size. In
Wordperfect you can section your page and I was just wondering could this be
accomplished in Word.

Use a table with fixed row heights and column widths. An easy way to get such a
table for quarter-page divisions is to use the Tools > Letters and Mailings >
Envelopes and Labels dialog. On the Labels tab, click the Options button and
choose Avery 3263 Post Card. Leave the Address box empty, choose "Full page of
the same label", and click the New Document button.

If you don't see the cell edges, click Table > Show Gridlines.
