How to determine the size limit of an Outlook 2003 mailbox?

Hi, anyone know an easy to check the size limit on any given user's Outlook
2003 mailbox? I am a desktop support tech and frequently need this
information.

I don't want to have to wait until the user exceeds their limit to know what
it is. I've tried emailing our Exchange admins but I get no replies from
them.

Thanks!

Open Outlook, go to Tools > Mailbox cleanup > click the View mailbox size
button. It gives total size and breaks it down by folder.

You can also right-click on Outlook today, scroll to properties, click on
Folder size. It will show you not only the mailbox size but the size of each
folder including Calendar, mail folders, journal, etc.

Sorry read your question too fast....In the Exchange server, Exchange Mgmt
Console, open the properties of the user, mail settings tab, storage quotas.
Unless you have admin rights yourself you will need to have an admin do it.

Check with your exchange administrator, usually the limit on outlook is 2Gb
by default, but it can be expande by rules

In my experience the usual limit set by Exchange administrators is more like
120Mb in the Mailbox. But it varies dramatically and depends on whether the
organisation is using any archiving software.
