How to determine the x & y coordinates based on angles for circle?

Does anyone know any excel function on how to determine the x & y coordinates
based on angles for circle?
For example, the radius of circle is 1,
if the angle is 0 degree, the the coordinate is (1,0),
if the angle is 90 degree, the the coordinate is (0,1),
if the angle is 60 degree, does anyone have any suggestion on how to
determine the coordinate?
Thank for any suggestions
Eric

dlw

for radius=r, angle=t, center=j,r

x=r * cos(t)+j
y=r * sin(t) +k

Now you have learned nothing from the assignment, how's that going to work
out for you?

Thank you very much for your suggestions
What if the circle is distorted, and became an ellipse, such as following
equation
(X*X)/(2*2)+(Y*Y)/(1*1)=1
Do you have any suggestions on how to locate the x & y coordinates based on
the angle for ellipse? If I can find the coordinate for ellipse, then I can
find the coordinate for circle, since the form of ellipse includes circle.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you for any suggestions

Just another option: However, the engineering funtions make this a little
hard to do with Excel. Don't forget to convert Degrees to Radians. Radius
here is 1.

[x] =IMREAL(IMEXP(COMPLEX(LN(1),RADIANS(A1))))

[y] =(IMAGINARY(IMEXP(COMPLEX(LN(1),RADIANS(A1)))))
