Just as the subject says

As Bob says, draw two lines. PPT doesn't offer trimming tools like those in
Illustrator.

Or maybe there's more to the question?

But how can I divide a line into seven or more parts with the same length?
Thank you for your answer anyway.

I believe that Bob's point is that Powerpoint isn't that sophisticated. You
must create separate lines.

As a helper, you can copy the first line six times to make seven equal
lines.

If your line is on a plain background, you could create six boxes with that
same background color to layer on top of the line at equal intervals, to
give the impression of division.

Create one line of the length you need.

Then hold the Ctrl button and drag on the original line to duplicate it. Or
select the line, copy, and paste.

You can then use Draw/Align to get them in the right place.
