How to do tasking from email

N

Ng Wai Mun

Hi,

I'm using office 2003. When I receive an email to remind
me of a function in two week time, how to I make it
appear to tasks?. I know there is one option called
follow up, I triep it did come up in the reminder windows
but how to make it appear in the tasks panel? It will be
a burden for me to go through all the email and search
for the flag.

Thanks

Drag and drop the email to your tasks folder and create a new task.

Just don't create an automatic move to your task folder
with a rules wizzard - a "ghost" task will be created
that can't be deleted, moved, modified, etc. (and it
messes with your handheld synchronization too!)

Anyone have something similar happen and is there a cure
to removing the task?
