How to draw line boxes example 16 box credit card grid?

I want to create various-size rectangle outline boxes within a mailer being
created. One of the applications being a 16 'hole' grid to contain
credit-card numbers. I also want to create various other rectangle 'boxes'
and 'grids'. I don't know how to achieve my gaols - help! please with your
know-how

Although you could use drawing objects, there are several other
possibilities:

1. Use a table with cell sizes adjusted to create the boxes and the spaces
between them and then apply borders selectively.

2. Use a box font character.

3. Create a box using one of the techniques described at
