How to eliminate blank screens during power point slide shows

When I play my slide show I am getting blank screens that should not be
there.

Are you using PowerPoint 2003 and show slides, that were created in earlier
versions? Then you should install the latest update to Office 2003: Service
Pack 2, which you can get automatically by clicking on Help - Check for
Updates (you need to be connected to the Internet).

Windows xp so it must be something else I guess. Thanks for the response

presentation have any animations or animation schemes? Or any films?
