How to eliminate grammar/spelling marks in document for recipients

I'm trying to publish a newsletter but when employees receive it it shows
names and so forth as underlined in red or green. Can I eliminate such
grammar and spelling marks?

The easiest way would be to publish in pdf format (well... easy if you have
Word 2007, a little more involved with other versions since you would need
to obtain .pdf software... free versions of which are available).

But, if you must publish in Word format, you could--after making certain
that all mistakes have been fixed--select either everything (quickest way)
or just the names that are showing up as spelling problems, and set the
"language" to "Do not check spelling or grammar". In Word 2007, you can do
this by double-clicking the language in the status bar.

You didn't say what version of Word you were using. There are two ways to
hide the marks.

1. The best way is to turn the file into a PDF and then distribute the
newsletter in that format.

2. An alternative would be to select the entire document and set the
Language to "Do not check." In Office 2003, you would do this by selecting
the entire document (Ctrl-A), and then selecting Tools - Language - Set
Language, and then clicking the "Do not check" box. I'm not sure what the
commands would be in Office 2007, but I would suspect that the logic would be
similar.

I hope this helps.
