How to embed the sound in powerpoint show file ?

Dear all,

I make a slide which will play a sound during the animation. It's fine
on my machine, but it didn't work on the others. This maybe the reason the
sound file was downloaded from Internet. Other people has no this sound file
in their machine. Anyone knows how to do this? I'm using powerpoint 97.

Only WAV files can be embedded, but if they exceed the size limit that you set
in Tools > Options > General they will be linked. Set the limit to 50000 KB.
Then delete and re-insert your WAV and it should be embedded.
