How to embedded office update files to original CD

How can I embedded office update files (such as SP3) to original office 2000
SR-1 CD? So that I don't need to apply update again.

Hi Pleo,

Office Service Releases (SR) (sadly no longer used) were incorporated by Microsoft into re-released product CDs, such as Office 2000
SR1, as well as being available to be 'patched in'

Service Packs (SP) are not included on the CDs and are intended to be added after the software is installed. An Office 2000 or
higher Service Pack should generally not need to be reapplied unless you remove then reinstall the software. They're maintained on
the computer for reapplication as needed when you change feature sets or repair.

There isn't an 'official' approach for Office 2000 for doing this, but the information here is available to use at your own risk :)

to create a modified CD, not to modify the original CD.
