How to enable macros?

Most of the time, when I'm trying to open or close Word Document, I'm getting a warning from Microsoft Visual Basi
saying that "The macros in this project are disabled, and please refer....... how to enable macros." I'd appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance. Jarek

It means that the document(s) you are opening contain macro's but your
security settings are such that Word will not allow it/them to execute.
1st question is, do you expect them to have macro's (ie. do you
know/trust the source of the document)?
If you do, then find out what the macro's are for.
If satisfied with the answers to the above and you want to enable the
macro(s), then follow the directions the message box gives you.
