How to Enable New Record Button in a Form

I created a huge database a long time ago, and now that we're finally
ready to use it, I forgot how to use access (mostly). I have a form
for people to add their data to the data base. Thing is, the new
record button, which is essential, is grayed out. How do I enable it?
