how to encode statistical formula

Could you please help me to encode the following formula:

[SUM[(X(i) - Mean(X))^4] / ( ((SUM[(X(i) - Mean(X))^2] / N)^2) ] / N

where X(i) is group of numbers stored in cell range A1:A100.

You almost have it. Try:
=(sum(a1:a100)-mean(a1:a100)^4)/(((sum(a1:a100)-mean(a1:a100))^2/n)^2)/n

You need to define N as a cell or internal name.

What do you mean by "encode"?

Instead of a single formula, I recommend that you use extra "helper" columns
on the worksheet. (There's lots of room.)

To calculate the mean, use Excel's AVERAGE function in a cell.

For "N", either substitute 100 or use the COUNT function in a cell.

Use one column for the deviation, i.e., X minus an absolute reference to the
AVERAGE function's cell.

Use another column for deviation^4 and another for deviation^2. Sum those
columns.

Then use a cell to combine all of the intermediate calculations.

When you break up the calculations as described above, it's much easier to
detect bugs.
