how to encrypt oe decrypt Excess program, not an Excess database

a shortcut of Excess icon on the desktop was password protected which was set
up before. I guess it was encrypted. Everytime I click it, requires the
password. I have the password, but it's too annoying. All the resource on
line is about encrypting/decrypting an individual Excess database, not the
whole program. How can I decrypt or remove the requirement of entering
password when accessing the Excess? Any help is appreciated
