how to end show automatically

I've read the answers and I'm either brilliant or neanderthal (Ifeel it is
the latter). I made a 9 picture slide show (first) and on the last slide it
will not go to black and the music continues. It Has to be stopped manually,
Tried all answers (click tools etc) & nothing works. What am I overlooking.
P.S. same deal with sound icon (clicked hide etc) zippo. Any help appreciated.

A reletively simple approach:

Add a blank black slide at the end of the presentation and set Slide
Transitions to Automatically Advance after 0 seconds and set the Sound to
[Stop Previous Sound]
