How to enter activation key for trial Office using student/faculty

I have purchased a new laptop that came with a trial version of Office 2007.
I am university based and want to enter the product key of the enterprise
version of office available to students and faculty, which I have purchased,
but see no way to do this. I would like to avoid having to reinstall Office
2007.

Any suggestions?

You need to uninstall the Office 2007 trial version, and then install
the Enterprise edition from the Office 2007 Enterprise CD, after which
you can enter the Enterprise edition product key when you activate the
software.
