How to expand all tasks in a consolidated project

Expanding all tasks using Show --> All subtasks works for standalone
projects. When I try on consolidated project that has several sub
projects inserted in them, the above command doesn't expand all
subproject tasks. Is there an option that needs to be set for
consolidated projects?
