How to expand width of name/reference area in formula bar

Hi all...

Does anyone know how to increase the width of the
dropdown at the left end of the formula bar that displays
the current reference and named ranges?

do this. The code will expand the width of the dropdown when it
is dropped down, not as it is displayed on the formula bar.
