How to export address book from Outlook XP to Outlook Express?

Outlook Address Book is a .pab file. In outlook express click on File /
Import / Other address books / Select outlook .pab file and you should be
all set.

I hope this helps thanks!

Export your Outlook Contacts (which is what Outlook uses as the address
book) as a CSV list and import them using that same format into Outlook
Express.

Outlook has not used a PAB file for years. Follow Brian's advice.

Not any more. Outlook stores addresses in the Contacts folder and doesn't
use the PAB file.
In outlook express click on File
/ Import / Other address books / Select outlook .pab file and you
should be all set.

In Outlook, select "File">"Import and Export...">"Export to a file">"Comma
Separated Values (Windows)". Click "Next>". Select the Contacts folder and
click "Next>". Browse to where you want your .csv file to go, give it a
name, and click "Next>. Click "Finish". Open Outlook Express. Click
"File">"Import">"Other Address Book", select "Text File (Comma Separated
Values)" and click "Import". Browse to the file you created with Outlook.
Click "Next>". Click "Finish".

For cryin' out loud! You replied to a message that had in it exactly the
information you're requesting. Did you even read that message? Also, if
you're getting error messages, you need to post their exact contents if you
expect people to help you. Finally, ask Outlook Express questions in an
Outlook Express newsgroup.
