how to fax document from MS word using a fax program

Have MS Office 2007 and a stand olone fax program, how can I fax a word doc
using this fax program. I could before using MS Office 2000. Thanks

That would depend entirely on the fax program, which you did not post.
Almost all fax programs let you print to the fax printer so that's the
easiest and most reliable way to send a fax.
