how to find files from publisher using access

I asked a question on here previously and was answered very quickly. I now
know it is possible to automate Microsoft publisher from access using VBA,
however i'm very new to programming and could do with some detailed pointers
if, any one could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I am creating a database for my business whereby I book singers etc into
venues. I use access as my database which performs brilliantly. I create my
posters for the venues in Microsoft Publisher, I need to be able to open
publisher and a specific file from a comman button from access. I have a code
system for my artistes so as an example, when I click the command button for
the artiste "CAR12" it will open Publisher find the file named "CAR12" and if
possible change the date which has been created using a wordart text box
using the info from my "booking card" in access.

I hope i have made it is as clear as possible.
