how to find key code in program

I am needing to re-install office 2003. I have the original disk but I lost
the sleeve. I don't have the key code. I have not un-installed the old 2003
yet. Is there a way to go into word or excell and find the key code before I
un-install and then re-install

Well ,
larryc567 there is no way of finding the key code from the application
but, if you have the Original Disk for the Software, You can call Microsoft
for a new Product Key.

I too would recommend Belarc Advisor. A most excellent program. basically -
if you have a application that has been activated with a key - this niffy
little program will find it.
In addition to showing you what your Licenses are, but it will also tell you
whether or not your Microsoft Security Updates are current, and a wealth of
other information.
