How to format parenthesis for fractions in Word 2011

Greetings,

is there anyway using the Word 2011 equation editor to format
parenthesis for fractions that aren't squashed? I'd like them to be
the full height of the fraction.

I may have one answer..

If this kind of thing happens, I go and change the line spacing option
to be 'at least' 12pt instead of 'exactly' 12pt. this makes the lines
to be wider and the equation can be seen perfectly. Of course if you
are using a different size of font you can do it as well. just make
line spacing option to 'at least'
