How to format the date on a Visio Timeline

The help line says:

"Select the timeline, and then, on the Timeline menu, click Change Date/Time
Formats." ( I can't find this menu)

I can't seem to find what I am looking for because the dates keep changing
between 2 systems's. DD MM YY and MM DD YY.

We are using Visio Standard, and cannot find this option. Is there
somewhere else we should look?

Where is the menu to alter your start and end date. EG. I want the date to
be MM DD YY, but it is showing up as DD MM YY. It also flip flops between
the 2.

On the menu bar there is (or should be) a Timeline menu. If there
isn't a Timeline menu then report back and we can try to fix that.
Alternatively, there should be several righ-click menu entries.

Select "Configure Timeline" and select the Time language to be English
(US) to get the MM DD YY format.

P.S. If you actually want the format "MM DD YY" with the spaces you
might need to create a custom date format. You could edit the date
format for a country that you will never otherwise use and then select
that date format for your timeline.

Ok, so you have a Gantt chart with a timeline added to it?
So, can you create a new blank Gantt chart? Then open the time line
stencil (menu File -> Shapes) and add a timeline symbol. Does the
diagram now have the Gantt and Timeline manus added?

This is for a Time line chart we are doing a Gantt Chart.

We can't find the timeline symbol under the Shapes menu.
