how to generate a range of number

V

Vito Corleone

Howdy folks,

I would like to know how to generate a range of number
(for example: 10000 to 19999) in excel without typing them
in each number into each cell one by one.

Your help would boot up my business significantly.

Gracias,

Vito Corleone,
President

in cell A1 put 10000
In cell A2 put =A1+1
Select cell A2 and do Edit / Copy, then select A3:A10000 and do Edit / Paste

If you then want the numbers hardcoded, select the entire column by clicking on
the column header and doing Edit / Copy, then Edit / Paste Special / Values

If you don't hardcode them, you will be able to change A1 for any other number
and all the rest will follow suit

Best would be to put 10000 in a cell. Select that cell.
Edit>fill>series>series in columns/stop value 19999>ok
