how to get pages to come up in 2003 FrontPage

I have been using FP to run my website. But, at present when I try to call
up the index file or any of the other pages, it just gives me a large empty
grey screen. I can not make entries or subtractions from my website. I am
locked out in essence.

1) Make sure you are opening the FP web - not just a Page using File Open Site/Web
2) Then double click your file in Folder List or Folder View to see it in "Page" view
