Visio 2003 apparently changed how entities behave, with the Database
Properties sheet being where you enter field names for the entity, etc.
In the previous version, you would just click on the entity, right
click Edit Column Text, and type (and format) the fields yourself.
I'm sure the new behavior is great for new drawings, but I have a large
ERD filled with entities created in the previous Visio version. When I
try to add an entity in 2003, it creates it in the new style. I managed
to turn off most of the visible differences, such as hiding the "PK"
next to the primary key, vertical line, horizontal line, etc. But it
still insists on some formatting I don't want, such as bolding the
primary key, and a big margin on the left (saving space for the
now-hidden "PK", I assume).
How can I create an entity that looks and behaves like all the others
in my diagram? I tried copying and pasting an existing one, but Visio
recognizes it and automatically forces it to the new style. I can't
take the time to convert everything over to the new style. All I want
is to add one more entity that looks like everything else on the page.
