How to Get Replacement Install disk(s) for MS Office 2000 Professi

Rick

My new computer cannot read my Office 2000 Pro original disk. It has a big
scratch and I think that is the problem. How can I get a replacement?
Cannot find any way to communicate with Microsoft on this without spending at
least $50. Please Help!
Thanks

Microsoft doesn't have any replacements for any software that old. Try
eBAY instead.

There are products and kits to polish scratched CDs. The information isn't
on the surface but underneath. The scratch is interfering with reading it
is all. Office Depot should have something.

You can no longer obtain Office 2000 replacement from MS.
Your only option is either a friend who has it or Ebay or similar
Have you tried copying the disk to your HD from command prompt?

Toothpaste is good. I kid you not, it's a very fine abrasive...

Try polishing it with toothpaste.
