How To Get Rid Of Smart Tags In 2007

Can anyone guide me with how to "un-check" Smart Tags from documents
in Word 2007. The window we're looking for is what in the Word 2003
version was Tools-Options-Save and then un-check "Embed smart tags"
and "Embed linquistic data." We have gone round and round and can't
find the Smart Tags in 2007 so we can get rid of them.

In Word 2003 there is also a second window that comes up in the
Tools-Autocorrect-Smart Tags window. We seem to have taken care of
that one okay, but it's the one in the old "Save" window that we can't
find.

Many thanks for any help you can give. I will be passing the
information on to my co-worker (I don't use 2007 myself) so I'm a
complete dork where 2007 is concerned. Please speak easy on the
directions!))

Thank you so much, Terry. Sounds easy enough to me - we've looked all
over the place but apparently not there!

I believe your suspicion is absolutely correct, Terry!))

I have a theory that Microsoft has a "Dude and Bro Department" which
is made up of a bunch of cubicles containing young men with long hair
and beards and sandals, and every few moments one or another of them
jumps up and says "Hey, Dude, wouldn't it be kewl to do ........" and
another one jumps up and says, "Yo, Bro - how about we add ......." --
and they do, and they add -- and MS Word lives happily ever after and
the rest of us all feel like we just fell down the rabbit hole or ate
from the wrong side of the mushroom! <g>

You missed the faded t-shirt (with inane slogans), un-pressed, ragged
shorts, the beads and elephant hair bracelets...
